FUJIFILM OPENS FACTORY IN THE PHILIPPINES

Fujifilm starts the operation of its new factory in the Philippines, the new factory will be the production base for lenses used for digital cameras, projectors and surveillance cameras. The factory is located in Laguna with a site area of 5.3 ha. The total investment of Fuji for this project is P2.3 billion! Not sure if Fuji lenses will become more affordable now that they have a factory here, what’s certain is that the new factory will create lots of jobs for Filipinos and possibly attract other investors to the country.
